الحمامة تريد جروًا بقلم مو ويلمز

My three-year-old makes me read this one at least twice a night, and I still laugh out loud at the pigeon's dramatic puppy-negotiating meltdown. The pacing is perfect for little attention spans, and it's a great way to talk about wanting something "right now" versus waiting.

The page where the pigeon negotiates for the puppy had my kid laughing out loud. It's the perfect length for a bedtime story.

My toddler made me read this three times in a row last night and laughed harder each time. The way the Pigeon throws his tantrum about wanting the puppy "right now" is spot-on for how my kid acts, and the simple dialogue makes it easy to do silly voices.
