كثير من التاماليس (هسباني) - كتب من ثقافات متعددة

My daughter and I giggled through the whole ring-in-the-dough panic, and it sparked a great conversation about holiday traditions. This is the kind of picture book that makes you want to roll out your own tamales afterwards.

The story's mystery kept me turning pages even though I already knew tamales were involved. Maria’s frantic search through the dough felt so real, and the family Christmas setting added a warm, relatable touch. A fun, engaging read that gave me a new appreciation for a holiday tradition.

Our kids enjoyed the story's Christmas setting and the drama of the missing ring, though the ending felt a bit abrupt. The descriptions of making tamales were vivid enough to make us hungry. A solid addition to our diverse bookshelf, but not quite a five-star favorite.
