Vowel Owls™ Sorting Set

The picture cards make it so easy to explain the difference between long and short vowels—my kindergartner actually gets excited to match them up. We've been using it daily for a week, and the sorting element keeps her focused without it feeling like a chore.

My first graders love racing to sort the picture cards by vowel sound, and the little owl cutouts make it way more fun than a worksheet. The way the long and short vowel examples are paired really helps them hear the difference.
