Wooden Ribbed Claves - 1 pair

The ridges are cut deep enough that the guiro effect is genuinely loud, and the wood feels solid in my hands. They've already survived a week of kids testing them out, no chips or cracks.

I picked these up for classroom rhythm exercises and the dual use is great—they produce a clear, deep tone when struck and a satisfying raspy sound as a guiro. The ribbed grip makes them easy to hold for younger students.

The ribbed texture is perfect for both the sharp click and the raspy guiro sound, which keeps my rhythm exercises interesting. My students actually fight over who gets to use them during our percussion lessons. They feel solid and well-balanced in the hands.
