Harry, der schmutzige Hund – Hardcover-Buch

My three-year-old giggles every time Harry gets covered in dirt, and the simple storyline keeps her engaged right up to the bath scene. The pages have a nice weight and the illustrations are crisp and colorful.

The hardcover binding feels sturdy enough to survive our nightly read-aloud ritual, and the story about the dog who runs away to avoid a bath still gets giggles every time. It's been fifty years and the illustrations hold up beautifully.

My toddler asks for this one every single night, and the rhythm of the story makes it a breeze to read aloud even when I'm exhausted. The hardcover binding has held up through countless bedtime readings and a few drool incidents, which is exactly what our shelf needed.
