My son loves watching the sand cascade through the bright plastic wheel, and the built-in sifter keeps the chunks out so it runs smoothly. It's held up well to a few weeks of heavy use in the sandbox.
My three-year-old barely looks up from the toy aisle now—she’s obsessed with watching the sand tumble down the 9 1/2 inch tower. The plastic feels really sturdy, and it’s survived being dropped on the patio more times than I can count.
