My three-year-old loves experimenting by swapping the same-size gears around the base. The wooden pieces feel sturdy and the matching outlines make setup easy for little hands.

My toddler figured out how to match the outline printed on the base surprisingly fast, and I love that the same-sized gears are interchangeable for different layouts. It’s sturdy enough to handle daily play without bending, exactly what we needed.
