My 4-year-old loves the on-ground play panels just as much as the elevated platforms. The 12-inch platform gives him the perfect height for feeling adventurous without being scary. Assembly took a couple of hours, but the instructions were clear enough.
The 6-inch platform is a bit low for my six-year-old, but the 12-inch one provides just enough challenge. Assembly took longer than expected, though the panels for ground play keep the kids occupied. It's decent for the price, but nothing extraordinary.
