ハードカバー絵本『コケコッコーと鳴いた牛』

My kindergartner is learning animal sounds at school, so this book about a cow who clucks instead of moos is perfect for her—she loves predicting what sound comes next. The hardcover pages have held up well through four bedtime readings already, and the illustrations keep her engaged.

My toddler giggles every time we get to the part where Cow tramps through the wheat field. It's a clever, silly story about friendship and sounds, and the hardcover pages feel sturdy enough to survive a few dozen reads. We've already read it three times today.

The illustrations are charming enough to keep my preschooler engaged during the repeated readings. We’ve had fun practicing animal sounds together, and the story moves at a good pace for short attention spans. Only wish the ending felt a little more surprising after all that searching.
