8-feet Straight Balance Beam

My 5-year-old got the hang of walking across without holding my hand after just a few tries, and the low 6-inch height makes me less nervous about tumbles. The wood feels smooth and solid, holding up great to daily use in our backyard.

The 8-foot length is perfect for my 6-year-old to practice walking without it feeling too short. My kids love that they can use it on the grass or pavement, and it feels sturdy even when they get a little wobbly. Now they race each other across it every afternoon.

The beam sits about 6 inches off the ground, which gives my kids enough challenge without scaring them. It’s been solid so far through daily use on our grass, though I wish it were a bit wider for younger toddlers.
