Begin learning early literacy with the Melissa & DougⓇ Alphabet Sound Puzzle. Unique, this puzzle will say the correct name of each letter when the piece is placed in the correct spot on the board. For best results, use in a brightly-lit room to activate the puzzle's light-activated sensors to help make the sounds. Each piece slightly raises above the puzzle board for easy-grasping. A colorful picture on the bottom of the puzzle pieces reinforces the relationship between letters and their sounds. Made of wood for top-quality durability. Measures 0.8" tall x 10" long x 13.5" wide. Requires AAA batteries (not included). For children ages 3 years and older.

Nicholas ★★★★★

The audio is clear and the letters are pronounced properly, so my kid picks the right piece just to hear the sound again. It’s a solid way to practice letter recognition without me having to drill it.

Ellie K. ★★★★☆

My 4-year-old loves hearing the letters sound off when she snaps them into place, and it's already helped her recognize a few. The only small issue is that the pieces can be a bit tricky to fit at first, but once you get the hang of it, it works great.
