Bark George - Main image
$12.72 $18.99 In stock

What's going on with George? When George's mother tells her son to bark, he meows. She patiently explains that "Cats go meow. Dogs go arf. Now, bark, George." But he quacks! Then oinks. Then moos. Becoming less patient and more exasperated, George's mom takes him to the vet with surprising results. Fanciful story with an award-winning author, unforgettable illustrations, and rollicking rhymes and words.

Aurora ★★★★★

We’ve read it every night since it arrived, and my daughter begs for “just one more animal sound” each time. The way George mixes up all the noises has her mimicking every page.

Thomas ★★★★★

My toddler giggles uncontrollably every time George quacks instead of barking, and the simple animal sounds make it easy for him to follow along. The page quality is nice and sturdy for small hands, which is great since we read it multiple times a day.
