The kids immediately started sorting them by the four colors, and even the youngest one could name all eight species by the end of the week. They're sturdy enough for little hands and the bright shades make counting practice feel like a game.

I was pleasantly surprised how much my kid enjoys sorting these by color and species—the 4 bright colors keep her focused. Only minor thing is that a couple of the tiny dinosaurs were a bit wobbly standing up, but the counting games make up for it.
