These markers are great for keeping the mess contained—the sponge tips don't drip at all. My only small gripe is that a couple of colors ran out pretty quickly, but the washability makes cleanup a breeze.

The sponge tips are gentler than I expected, but a few of the darker colors seemed to leave stains on the table even after wiping. It's nice that it's washable from skin, but the cleanup on surfaces could be better.

The sponge tips are definitely gentle for tiny hands, and the washable claim held up when we tested them on skin. I just wish the ink didn't bleed through thinner paper so fast, but for a no-mess classroom option it's decent.
