This puzzle has 4 large, raised pieces, each having a big 1" knob for easy handling. The puzzle measures 21" x 6" and is made of plywood.
The knobs are nicely sized for my toddler's hands, making it easy for her to lift and place each animal piece. The puzzle is long and narrow, which fits perfectly on our small coffee table. She's already learned to match the lion and elephant to their spots.
My 18-month-old immediately grabbed the big knob on the lion piece and pulled it right out. The 1-inch knobs are perfect for his little hands, and the extra-wide puzzle stays put on the table. He's already learning to match the wild animals to their spots.
