Invite students up to the whiteboard for hands-on practice of essential Base Ten concepts! An extensive set of magnetic pieces includes units, rods, flats and one large cube. Terrific for tactile and visual learners.

Model essential base ten and place value concepts on your whiteboard so the whole class can see. Bright blue magnetic pieces stand out against your whiteboard for maximum visibility. Engage the entire class in concrete demonstrations of abstract math concepts. Pieces are large enough to be seen on a whiteboard, yet of a manageable size for student manipulation. Flats measure 6.75"L x 6.75"H. Units measure 0.625"L.

Real photos of base ten blocks go beyond typical base ten magnetics to help students to quickly and easily visualize the 3-D representation of math concepts, including place value, estimation, operations, fractions, area and more.

Set includes 131 pieces (100 units, 20 rods, 10 flats and one cube).

Edward J. ★★★★★

The flats snap satisfyingly to the whiteboard and stay put even during energetic demonstrations. My students finally understand place value after physically grouping the rods and units together during our lesson.

David ★★★★★

The big magnetic cube is the piece my kids fight over, but honestly the rods and flats get used way more during our place value lessons. Everything sticks to the whiteboard without sliding, even when a kid bumps it. Wish the set came with a few more units, but that's a small gripe.

Adam ★★★★☆

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the cube stays put on the board—no sliding around during a lesson. The only minor issue is the rods could be a bit thicker for smaller hands to grip easily. Otherwise, it’s a solid set for group work on place value.
