Ended up using this for a quick science demo with my niece, and she was absolutely fascinated that it could lift a small stack of paperclips with no problem. The 4-pound lifting strength is impressive for such a compact size.
Surprised my nephew with this for a rainy-day activity, and the 4-lb lift is exactly as described. He loved testing what it would pick up around the kitchen, and it held his attention way longer than I expected.
