I needed larger sticks for a puppet project, and these definitely fit the bill. The 500 count is generous, but about a dozen were splintered or cracked right out of the box. They work fine for basic structures, just wish the quality control was a bit tighter.

They're definitely bigger than standard craft sticks, which worked fine for a puppet handle I made. The 500 count is generous, but a few had rough splintery edges that needed sanding before the kids could use them safely.
