Tactile Wooden Number Trays 1–9 | Eco-Friendly Counting & Tracing Set

The Tactile Wooden Number Trays 1–9 are a beautifully hand-crafted resource designed to support the maths mastery approach in early childhood classrooms. These trays provide young learners with a hands-on way to explore numbers, helping to deepen their understanding through tactile play and visual engagement. Each tray is carefully crafted from eco-friendly FSC-certified wood, ensuring durability and sustainability for long-term classroom use.

Ideal for children aged 18 months and up, these number trays encourage kids to collect, sort, and count small objects, making abstract number concepts concrete and meaningful. The tactile experience of handling objects while counting strengthens fine motor skills and helps develop early math vocabulary such as “more than,” “less than,” and “number bonds.” The routed numbers on each tray offer a dual function, allowing children to trace the shapes with their fingers, supporting early writing and number formation skills in a natural and enjoyable way.

Measuring 4" x 5.5" each, these trays are perfectly sized for small hands and encourage independent learning and exploration. Whether used individually or in group settings, they foster curiosity and confidence in early math concepts. This set is a must-have addition to any early education classroom, sensory table, or math center seeking an engaging, eco-friendly way to nurture foundational numeracy skills.
