outdoorED™ Storage Shelf | Weather-Resistant 3-Shelf Outdoor Classroom Storage Unit

*Received Design Journal BEST of 2025 Award*

Keep your outdoor learning space organized, accessible, and inviting with the outdoorED™ Storage Shelf, a durable storage solution designed specifically for early childhood environments. This versatile shelf offers three spacious surfaces—a top and two fixed shelves—that provide ample space to store and display outdoor learning materials, sensory bins, art supplies, gardening tools, or loose parts.

With a 16-inch cabinet depth, this storage unit delivers excellent stability, ensuring children can safely reach and return materials on their own. Its open, double-sided design promotes independence and smooth classroom routines by allowing children to access items from either side during outdoor play.

Built to withstand the elements, the shelf is constructed from ¾-inch textured woodgrain maple panels combined with polar white HDPE thermoplastic elements. This UV-stabilized material resists fading, moisture, mold, mildew, stains, and odors, and it won’t chip, delaminate, splinter, swell, or absorb bacteria. Rust-resistant stainless steel hardware ensures long-lasting durability, while the white panels stay cool in the sun, making them safe to touch even on warm days.

Easy to clean using common non-abrasive cleaners, this shelf is also an eco-conscious choice, as HDPE is highly recyclable and contributes to a more circular economy. Made in the USA and backed by a 15-year warranty, the outdoorED™ Storage Shelf is a reliable, low-maintenance solution for outdoor classrooms serving children ages 2.5 and up.
