Timothy H. ★★★★★

The illustrations really pop on each page, and my kid asks to read the part where Pete and Gus meet over and over. The message about embracing differences is subtle but comes through nicely for a preschooler.

Natalie ★★★★★

My toddler loves the part where Pete meets Gus and realizes they’re different, and the simple, friendly story keeps her engaged from start to finish. The illustrations are bright and fun too, perfect for a quick bedtime read.
