Pete the Cat goes walking down the street wearing his brand-new white shoes. Along the way his shoes change from white to red to blue to brown to wet as he steps in piles of strawberries, blueberries and other big messes. But no matter what color his shoes are, Pete keeps movin' and groovin' and singing his song....... because it's all good!

Eli D. ★★★★★

We bought this for our three-year-old and he loves following along as Pete's shoes change color on each page. The repetition is perfect for keeping his attention during storytime.

Ellie ★★★★★

My kid now walks around the house pointing at things saying "brown" after we read the shoe-changing part, which is great for learning colors. The simple repeating text makes it easy for her to "read" along after just a few times through.

Olivia ★★★★★

My toddler loves stomping along with Pete as his shoes change colors—the strawberry page is a huge hit. The repetition makes it easy for him to "read" along after just a few times through. Perfect for getting little ones excited about storytime.
