I was surprised how clear the onion skin and potato starch slides are under the microscope. My son immediately started comparing the different cell structures without any help. This kit made our first biology lesson feel effortless.
The kids were fascinated seeing the cell walls of a potato slice so clearly. The printed name and picture on each slide makes it easy for them to identify what they're looking at.
Bought these for my daughter's first microscope and the labeled slides take all the guesswork out of it. The little pictures on each one make it easy for her to match what she's seeing under the lens. Onion skin and celery cross-sections came out really clear.
