"Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly" Storytelling Doll & Animal Finger Puppet Set*

Bring a classic children’s story to life with the "Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly" Storytelling Doll & Animal Finger Puppet Set—a charming, interactive resource designed with early educators in mind. This 8-piece set includes a soft 13-inch doll and seven animal finger puppets that correspond with the beloved book There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly (book sold separately here). Young learners will love reenacting the story as they “feed” each puppet into the doll’s spacious tummy pouch, promoting hands-on engagement and active participation.

Perfect for circle time, literacy centers, and small group instruction, this set encourages children to develop sequencing skills, vocabulary, memory, and oral language abilities through dramatic play. When not in use, the puppets can be neatly stored in the built-in pockets located at the bottom of the doll’s dress—making clean-up quick and classroom-friendly.

The storytelling doll is thoughtfully crafted with securely attached features including glasses, a hat, hair, and other trims, ensuring durability and safety for repeated classroom use. Recommended for ages 3 and up, this delightful puppet set is an ideal tool for making read-alouds more memorable and meaningful in preschool and early elementary classrooms. A fun and functional addition to any early learning library.
