Avery ★★★★☆

The kids grabbed these right away and loved the feel of the hardwood; the tone is clear and bright when tapped together. They’re a solid, simple choice for classroom rhythm work, though I wish the finish wasn’t quite so plain.

The set arrived with a nice heft to the hardwood, and the beaded stick gives a noticeably brighter click against the plain one. My elementary kids picked up the rhythm patterns fast, though the finish could be a bit smoother on the plain stick’s edges.
