This official 5-ply rubber covered ball comes with nylon wound butyl bladder, and recessed metal reinforced hanger with white nylon cord. Drop shipped from factory and shipped via UPS. (Pole sold separately. Ref. SPC-5711102DS.) This tetherball replacement ball and rope are perfect for both children and adults!
The nylon wound butyl bladder holds air way better than the cheap ball we had last summer, still firm after three weeks of daily use. The recessed metal hanger is a nice touch too, the cord hasn't frayed once.
Wasn't sure a rubber ball would survive our concrete driveway, but the 5-ply cover has taken a full summer of abuse without a single crack. The recessed metal hanger keeps the cord from fraying where it attaches, which was the first thing to go on my last one.
The 5-ply rubber cover has held up great through a whole summer of daily swings, no scuffs or cracks yet. The recessed metal hanger keeps the cord from fraying, which was the problem with my last one.
