Avery ★★★★★

My three-year-old requests this one every single night now — the rhyming text is so fun to read aloud that I don't even mind the repetition. The bright ocean colors on each page keep her totally engaged, and the way the story turns from gloomy to cheerful always gets a giggle out of her.

Christopher ★★★★★

The illustrations are so vibrant and engaging that my three-year-old insisted on reading it three times in a row. The playful rhyme scheme makes it a joy to read aloud, and the hardcover feels durable enough for little hands.

Mia ★★★★★

My toddler loves the rhythmic rhyme in this book—we’ve read it five times tonight. The bright ocean colors on each page really hold her attention.
