The illustrations in this edition really pop off the page—the double-page spread of the wild rumpus is even more vivid than I remember. My nephew was completely captivated by the monster faces and the simple, powerful story.

My kid insists on reading this every night since it arrived. The illustrations are just as stunning as I remembered, and the hardcover feels sturdy enough for all the bedtime readings.
