Learning Numbers & Operations with Unit Blocks

My four-year-old grasped the concept of halves and quarters visually within minutes of playing with these blocks. The different sized pieces make comparing whole units so much easier than just drawing on paper. Such a simple, effective learning tool.

The blocks are a nice, solid hardwood, but my child found the color-coding a bit confusing for learning halves and quarters. It works okay for basic addition if you guide them through it step by step.
