The Baltic Birch feels solid enough that I don't worry about it wobbling when my toddler grabs the rail. The hidden stairs slide out so smoothly even my two-year-old can manage them with just a little help.

We’ve had this for three weeks and the Baltic Birch feels rock-solid—no wobble at all when my toddler climbs the hidden stairs with my help. The slide-out stairs are genius for our small nursery, and assembly took less than an hour.

The stairs slide out smoothly enough, but the Baltic Birch finish feels a bit rough around the edges, so I'd sand it down before baby arrives. Assembly took me most of an afternoon, and the 7-inch height is fine for our room, just not as sturdy as I expected when my toddler leans on it.
