8" Basket of Shells

The variety in textures is perfect for a sensory bin—some shells are ridged, some are smooth, and they’re all big enough for little hands to grip safely. I’ve used them for both art projects and sorting activities, and they hold up well to repeated handling.

My 3-year-old spent a full twenty minutes just sorting the shells by size. The different textures are perfect for sensory play, and they held up well to being dropped. This is exactly the kind of open-ended material our preschool classroom needed.
